19世纪天津、烟台的对外贸易与传统市场网络——以洋纱洋布的输入与运销为例

19世纪下半叶 ,华北是全国洋纱、洋布输入最多、销流最广的地区 ,以往学者关于洋货未能打入华北内地的看法值得商榷。更值得注意的是 ,同时期天津、烟台两口岸对外贸易的巨大发展是在当地中国商人的控制之下并依凭传统市场网络的支撑而实现的 ,与外国商人的努力及内地新式流通运输体系无大关系。中国商人正是凭借这些优势加入到新的国际贸易竞争体制之中 ,并占据主动、屡败对手 ;华北的传统市场网络无可替代地长期承担起链接外来世界和偏远内地的使命 ,并带来天津、烟台这些新型近代商业贸易中心的兴盛和发展。

In the second half of 19th century,North China was the area where foreign gauze and cloth were most imported and distributed.It was noticeable that at that time,the great development of foreign trade of Tianjin and Yantai was under the control of Chinese merchants and supported bv traditional market network.This market network in North China undertook the mission of 1inking outside world and remote inland.
