E-cadherin及其相关蛋白在食管鳞癌的表达与预后的关系

Expression of catenin and E-cadherin in human esophageal cancer and the clinical significance

目的 研究食管鳞状细胞癌中钙粘附蛋白 (E cad)、连接蛋白 (cat)α、β、γ的表达与预后关系。方法 免疫组化法检测 6 2例食管癌手术标本E cad、α cat、β cat、γ cat蛋白的表达 ,结合临床资料进行分析。结果 γ cat蛋白缺失表达与淋巴结转移有显著相关性 (P <0 .0 5 ) ;术后三年生存率E cad保留表达和缺失表达组分别为 10 0 %和 5 6 % ,γ cat保留表达和缺失表达组分别为 78%和 4 8% ,统计学差异均有显著性。结论 E cad、γ cat缺失表达提示肿瘤细胞恶性程度高 ,可能为食管癌预后差的因素之一。

Objective To investigate the Expression of E cadherin,α catenin,β catenin and γ catenin and its clinic pathology in esophageal cancer. Methods The E cadherin ,α catenin,β catenin and γ catenin expression were examined immunohistochemically in 62 patients with squamous cell carcinoma of esophageal.Clinical dated were reviewed and their correlations with the expression of catenin and E cadherin were analyzed. Results Reduced expression of E cadherin and γ catenin was well associated with poorer differentiation of tumor cells and shorter survival time of patients. Clinically reduced expression of γ catenin was correlated with lymph nodes metastasis( P <0.05).The 3 year survival rates in E cadherin normal expression group and in reduced expression one were 100% and 56%, in γ catenin normal expression group and in reduced expression one were 78% and 48%, respectively.The differences were both statistically significant. Conclusion Reduced expression of E cadherin and γ catenin implies more aggressive malignant behavior of esophageal carcinoma cells and predicts poor prognosis of the patients.
