南阳唐河县西冢张村画像石墓发掘简报

A Preliminary Report on the Excavation of a Pictorial Stone Tomb at the Village of Xizhong zhang in Tanghe County

1980年南阳地区文物考古队在唐河上屯公社下屯大队西冢张村发掘了两座画像石墓,编号分别为M1、M2。尽管两座墓葬被盗扰严重,但墓葬形制结构保存较好,并且出土有二龙交尾、白虎衔环铺首等画像20幅,初步判断M1为西汉晚期晚段,M2为东汉中晚期。

In 1980,the Nanyang Regional Archaeological Team excavated two pictorial stone tombs M1 and M2.Though the tombs were heavily robbed,their structure remained relatively intact and 20 pieces of stones with figures of dragons and white tigers were recovered.Tomb M1 have may belonged to the Wang Mang period and tomb M2 the late Eastern Han Dynasty.
