A Preliminary Report on the Excavation of a Western Jin Tomb in the New District, Luoyang

2013年,洛阳市文物考古研究院在洛阳市洛龙区龙门大道发掘清理了一座西晋墓。该墓为土洞墓,由墓道、甬道、封门、墓室、耳室组成,出土了陶罐、陶碗、陶牛车、男侍俑、铁镜等遗物,时代属于西晋中晚期。

In 2013,the Luoyang Municipal Institute of Cultural Relics and Archaeology excavated a Western Jin dynasty tomb at Longmen Avenue in Luolong District,Luoyang.The tomb was an earthen chamber tomb and consisted of a passage,a doorway,a door,a coffin chamber and a side chamber.The recovered objects,including pottery pots,bowls,oxcarts and male figurines,and iron mirrors,indicates that the tomb belonged to the middle-late period of the Western Jin dynasty.
