Forest pests and diseases are the main enemies of healthy growth of forests. Only by establishing long-term monitoring mechanism and grasping the development status in time, can we formulate prevention and control programs, minimize hazards, achieve sustainable development of forestry and ensure the safety of ecological environment. This paper discussed the general survey methods and control strategies of forest pests and diseases.
