Modernization of Political Culture in Modern China

本文简要回顾了中国传统政治文化的主要特征及其演变对中国社会历史发展的影响,分析了当代中国政治文化多元性特征及其成因。指出,当代中国政治文化的现代化,是建设中国特色社会主义政治文明的必然要求,必须以"三个代表"重要思想为指导,以大力发展社会生产力为基础,以建设社会主义民主政治为主要目标,以实现人的全面发展为其终极目标。

In this paper, the characteristics of the political culture in modem China exhibits in both traditional and modern aspects with its influence to the development of China’s history. The basic qualities and the cause of the variety of modern political culture of China have been discussed. It concludes that modernized political culture in China is the key to a socialist political civilization. "The guidance of three represents", the foundation of the greatly-increasing production forces, the essence of building Chinese advanced political culture and the aim to the development of human’s personality have been put forward.
