The cultural tour is the newest trend of the development of tourist industry. The national cultural tour is becoming an important tourist activity in the ethnic mimority area. It is a new way that the ethnic mimority area shakes off poverty and sets out on the road to prosperity. This paper mainly expounds western Hunan national culture content of tourist resources, the opportunity and potentiality for its development, etc, and carry on in-depth analysis to it. The paper also proposes some national cultural tourism development idea and its sustainable development analyze on this basis.
