摘要
国内华兹华斯研究自兴起之初就与比较方法联系在一起,将华氏自然诗与中国传统山水田园诗作比较,并将前者的基督教、泛神论宗教哲学背景与后者的儒道杂糅、佛道融通传统作比较,以寻求英国浪漫主义与中国诗人寄情山水的避世情怀的投合。不足之处是存在比较不对等现象,即厚此薄彼的本文化中心主义倾向;尚需进行一些关键性概念的辨析工作,以作为进一步比较的前提。
Wordsworth study in China was connected with comparative approach from the very beginning. The typicalpractice is to compare Wordsworth’s nature poetry to Chinese traditional landscape-pastoral poetry,his background ofChristianity and pantheism to that of Chinese poets,viz.,the fusion of Confucianism,Buddhism and Taoism,to seek the cor-respondence between English Romanticism and Chinese poets’inclination to abandon themselves to the beauty of mountan-s and rivers. The defects lie in the practice of cultural centralism,the lack of some basic definition discriminations,whichimpede the deeper and more equivalent comparative study.
