中国隐逸文化源远流长,自先秦时期儒道两家提出两种隐逸的典范形式起,隐逸文化经历魏晋南北朝的成熟期,以及唐宋之后的衰落期,期间出现了众多记载中国古代隐士事迹的高士类传,其中以《圣贤高士传》和《高士传》为代表。高士类传在人物分类、入传标准、材料选取以及记载内容方面都独具特点,并且在立传标准与叙事手法方面与正史中的《隐逸传》存在许多差异。

Chinese hermit culture has a long history.Put forward by Confucianism and Taoism during the Qin Dynasty,this culture was mature during the Wei and Jin Dynasty,and declined after Tang and Song Dynasties.A lot of biographies of hermits recording ancient Chinese scholars appeared.The representative works are Biography of Virtuous Hermits and Biography of Hermits.The genre has its unique features in the classification of characters,biography standard,material selection and recorded contents.And there are many differences about the biography standard and narration compared with the Biography of Hermits in Histories in form of biography.
