Degree adverbs modifying the Phrase of Sticky object verb"Xian de(显得)+X"has low frequency existence in modern Chinese. In most cases,"Xian de(显得)+X" is more easily modified by relative degree adverb "Geng(更)".The main expression function of this language phenomenon is emphasizing tendency, and there are also involving showing simplicity,accommodating referentiality and seeking richness. The analogy from " Xian(显)" to "Xian de(显得)" and the restriction of syntactic iconicity are the mechanism of low frequency retention for degree adverbs modifying" Xian de(显得)+X".
