《广韵》注文中有94处对注文用字进行直音注音。这些注音或可补《广韵》正切收音之缺,或可补《广韵》字头收字之缺,或可提示中古字形关系,或可反映混韵现象。注音字的选取无对应被注音字所有读音的要求,音注盖多有文献来源。这些直音注音不单反映中古语音,还于形、义有所揭示。

There are 94 zhi-yin(直音)phonetic notations in the notes of Guangyuna(广韵).These notations can add the readings of the Zheng-qie(正切),can add the characters in the text,can give the cues of the relationships of the characters,or can reflect the mistakes of the final confusion.There was no need to choose the noting characters which had the all readings as the noted ones.Maybe a lot of the phonetic notations came from the earlier literatures.These zhi-yin(直音)phonetic notations not only reflects the readings in the mid-ancient times,but also as a cue to study the character shapes and the meanings.
