受经济政治文化等因素的影响,近代来,粤语受到热捧,成为"强势方言"不断北上。而普通话也因其标准音的地位不断"南下"影响着粤语,给粤方言语言系统带来新血液。文章以词汇为主线,探讨"粤语北上"和"北语南下"的途径、原因和影响等。

Affected by economic, politics and culture, Cantonese remains being popular and become a dominant language, turning to north in recent years. Simultaneously, Mandarin streams south and affects Cantonese because of its standard position. Therefore, it brings many new ingredients to Cantonese. This paper is base on lexicon discussing the ways, reasons and effects about ' Cantonese spreads to north' and ' Mandarin spreads to south'.
