'西方马克思主义'的代表人物马尔库塞对人的存在方式进行了深入的研究。无论是马尔库塞对当今人类生存境遇主要是'单向度'的概括,对人在'单向度'境遇下过的是'不幸之中的欣慰生活'的分析,对使人处于'单向度'状态是当今资本主义社会的一种控制人的新形式的揭示,还是马尔库塞所提出的人走出这种'单向度'的生存境遇的途径,都有着重大的现实意义。

Marcuse,the representative of'Western Marxism',has conducted in-depth research on the way people exist.Marcuse’s'one-way dimensionality'of generalization of current situation of human beings survival,his analysis of'satisfying life in misfortune'under such'one-way dimensionality'circumstances,his exposure of a new form of controlling human beings in the current capitalist society and his proposal of human beings to go out of such'one-way dimensional'survival situation,all these are of great contemporary significance.
