基于Xilinx PLD的FFT实现研究

摘要 DFT在频谱分析和信号处理中占有极其重要的作用。随着数字信号处理技术的迅猛发展,FFT算法的出现使DFT算法的运算效率提高了1-2个数量级,为数字信号处理应用于通信、雷达、信号处理等方面创造了良好的条件。现在实现FFT的算法有很多种。随着FPGA越来越多的应用于数字信号处理,研究基于FPGA的信号处理器设计就越来越重要了。本文首先介绍了Xilinx公司的两种系列FPGA芯片,并介绍基于这两种系列FPGA的FFT的实现方法。并通过编辑、编译、综合、下载及仿真,测试了实验结果。其次将硬件FFT计算结果与Matlab计算结果进行了对比,进一步证明了PLD结果的正确性。在FPGA芯片上运行的FFT算法具有速度快和抗干扰能力强的优点;用硬件实现的FFT算法可以重复利用,从而大大提高了设计效率。 DFT plays a very important role in the spectral analysis and the signal processing.In the background of the fast development of the digital signal processing,the appearance of FFT algorithm has enhanced the operation efficiency of DFT algorithm to 1-2 time(s),and at the same time,this makes a good foundation to the application of the digital signal processing to the telecommunication,radar and signal processing.Now,there are many kinds of FFT algorithm.Along with increasing applications of FPGA to the digital signal processing,it will be more and more important to make research on the design of signal processor based on FPGA.This is just what this paper focuses on.Firstly it introduces two kinds of FPGA chips from Xilinx Corporation,as well as two FFT realization methods based on FPGA.Besides that through the edit、translation、synthesis、downloading and the simulation,the experimental result has been tested in the paper.Secondly it makes a comparison between the result of FFT and the Matlab.By this way,it proves the accuracy of PLD.The FFT algorithm on the FPGA chip has the advantages of quickness and anti-jamming ability,as well as it can be recycled to increase efficiency of the relevant work.
