The reason that Chomsky's formal linguistic theory caused dual attention by linguistic sciences and computer sciences is as follows:1.His theory benefits the sciences mentioned bove;2.The computer sciences have proved his formal linguistic theory in triplex way.Linguistic study is a key to computer artificial intelligence.
