The Relationship between the Entrance Examination System and Schooling Education in American Colleges

文章探讨了美国高校现行招生政策及制度的形成原因,分析总结了美国高校招生考试与学校教育的关系,在此基础上提出了可供我国高考改革借鉴的三个理念:1)精英高等教育与大众高等教育分类发展;2)加强统一能力考查;3)高校用综合选拔标准与特殊录取标准引导教育教学。

The author goes into t he reasons that America forms current colleges'entrance policy and entrance exa mination system,generally analyses the relationship between the entrance examin ation system and schooling education in America,on the basis of which,there ar e three useful ideas which we can use for reference on our reform of the entr ance examination system:firstly,developing the elite higher e-ducation and ma ss higher education respectively;secondly,strengthening the idea of measuring the com-mon capabil ity;finally,using the synthetic enrollment criterion and special enrollment criterion to guide the schooling education.
