郁达夫对唯美主义的选择,主要受独特个性气质和传统审美文化心理的影响。由于时代和地域的制约,郁达夫选择唯美主义文学思潮的过程也就是一个不断个性化和民族化的过程。郁达夫对唯美主义的选择可以使我们更清晰的认识中国二三十年代唯美主义文学思潮的产生和流变。

Being influenced by his unique personality and psychology of traditional aesthetic culture, Yu Dafu chose aestheticism. But because of the restriction of times and region, the process of his choice of aestheticism was just the one of his continuous individuality and nationality, which could make us know clearly the emergence and variation of aestheticism trends of thought in literature in the twenties and thirties of last century in China.
