A STUDY ON THE CALCULATION OF HORIZONTAL DIFFUSION COEFFICIENTS IN SHALLOW SEA WATER AREA

摘要 本文根据拉格朗日流与欧拉流自相关系数的相似关系,用渤中8号平台1987年1月和8月的实测资料,分别推算了水平扩散系数。推算结果表明:研究长时间水平扩散时,把潮流看作湍流,所求的扩散系数实际上是潮流扩散系数,其值在10~6cm^2/s范围内;研究短时间水平扩散时,把潮流看作平流,用富里叶变换的长周期合成值从实测值中扣除,所求的扩散系数消除了长周期潮流部分,可认为是湍流扩散,其值在10~4cm^2/s范围内。 Based on the similarity of auto-correlation coefficients of Eulerian currents and Lagrangarian currents, horizontal diffusion coefficients were calculated by using observed data from the Platform'Bozhong 8' during January and August of 1987. The calculated results show that in studying long-time scale horizontal diffusion coefficients, when regarding tidal currents as turbulent currents, the diffusion coefficients to be determined are actually that of tidal currents whose values are approximately 10~6cm^2/s; and in studying short-time scale horizontal diffusion coefficients we can regard tidal currents as average currents, subtract the long-period combined values of the Fourier Transform from observed values. The calculated diffusion coefficients in which the changing components of longperiod tidal currents have been eliminated may be regarded as turbulent diffusion coefficients whose values are of the order of 10~4cm^2/s.
