摘要
VOD(VideoonDemand)与其他视频服务相比 ,最能体现数字化多媒体交互性功能 ,如何在具有丰富带宽的双向HFC网络上开展颇具市场潜力的VOD增值服务是值得关注的问题。结合理论与实践全面论述VOD在双向HFC网络应用中所涉及的双向网络拓扑结构设计、CMTS带宽与用户数匹配、数字视频压缩标准选用。
VOD can display the function of interactive aigitized multimedia service more than other video services.How to launch VOD increment service in the bidirectioral HFC network,should be taken seriously by us.This article elaborates in detail by connecting theory with practice some crucial problems about VOD application in bidirectional HFC network,such as the bidirectional network toplogy design,CMTS band width and user number match,and the digital video compression standard,etc.
