Application of GPS & GIS Technology During the Primary Study on Landslide Hazards in the Middle Mountainous Watershed: A Case Study from Xizhuang Watershed,Yunnan,Wouthwest China

摘要 本文采用了GPS辅助下的野外调查、野外实地填图进行数据采集和室内GIS(ArcInfo7 0 )辅助下的数据储存、分析方法 ,以西庄河山地流域过去发生的滑坡事件为研究对象 ,初步分析了该山地流域内滑坡事件的时空分布特征及近期滑坡发生的可能趋势。最后 ,指出GPS和GIS技术在流域滑坡灾害研究中具有广泛的应用前景和优越性。 s:In order to obtain the good understanding of the basic cond it ion of serious erosion events,landslide events,in Xizhuang watershed (small sc ale,middle mountainous watershed),field survey with the assistant of GPS (the global position system) and topography map in 1:10000 scales was implemented du ring dry season 2001~2002 year rounds Especially,March 2002,one detail field survey on landslides related to location,volume of loss,occurring time etc wa s carried out In this essay,the basic information and data are based on this fi e ld survey,in the field,special survey tables were filled up and the spatial lo cations of landslides were put on the topography map Finishing the field work, i n door work is based on the ArcInfo (Version 7 1),detail data of landslide ev ent s,including the indicators mentioned above,are entered the computer and establ ished the Access Dataset,after the processing,the final results are transferre d into ArcView (Version 3 1) software package In the ArcView processing,linki ng spatial information on different landslide events in Xizhuang watershed,concre te analysis work is done,the results showing:1) since after 1999,landslide ev ents happening are increasing with the increasing of rainfall amount in xizhuang watershed; 2) most of landslide events appear nearby the river banks,the lowes t frequency landslide events is nearby farmhouses; 3) scale of soil loss from la ndslide events varies from different landslide events (from 1 6m3 to 25000m3); 4 ) landslide events adversely affected the security of river bank,bridge,road a nd soil nutrient balance etc in the watershed Finally,the authors give some r ecommendations for landslides prevention:a) stopping the quarries' work and sta rting to protect the destroyed area; b) suitable measures should be carried out to protect the river bank for the safety of transportation; c) agroforestry meas ures for farmland protection; d) forestation activities and convert slope farmla nd into forest land or grassland for environment health and rehabilitation; e) m ore research input on landslide in the micro-scale of mountain watershed
