摘要
学习自主性概念常常被认为是西方的文化价值观念 ,因而不适用于中国。文章从广义的自主性概念入手 ,探讨中国传统文化对外语学习者的影响 ,并通过问卷调查得出结论 :中国传统文化并不排斥学习自主性 ;中国学生同样有自主要求 ;
The concept of learner autonomy is considered, more often than not, as laden with the Western cultural values and unsuited to the traditions of learni ng and teaching in China. The authors argue that the Chinese cultural tradition s don't go against the learner autonomy and the Chinese students also have a stro ng desire of autonomy, The essay is made of three parts. Firstly by analysing th e concept of learner autonomy in a broad sense. Secondly it looks at four aspect s of Chinese cultural traditions which have an important effect on Chinese forei gn language learners. And therefore,the learing autonomy in English teaching in China should be also stressed
