婉约词在唐五代和北宋已经取得了很大的成就 ,到了南宋 ,在艺术上又有许多新的突破 :确立词的本体意义使其取代了诗的文坛统治地位、广泛的使用慢词长调扩大词的表现容量、讲求音律、炼字精工、“气”“格”贯注其中 ,使婉约词在感知形式上增强了感染力 ,实现了人的自然化 ;对恋情的表达更加深婉、融入了更多的社会历史内容、增强了女性意识 ,使婉约词在形象情欲方面的人化获得了长足的发展 ;表达了对社会现实的感受和对世界人生的领悟 ,甚至勾销了宇宙的时空观 ,从而无限的拓展了人类的心理流程 。
