温庭筠与柳永二人的人生经历极其相似 ,其中最重要的一点是二人都因做着白衣卿相的美梦而致终生坎坷。但是相比较而言 ,温庭筠有自己的政治理想和人生抱负 ,且富有正义感 ;而柳永却没有什么值得坚持的信念。因此 ,温庭筠的坎坷飘零是一个悲剧 。

The life experience of WEN Tingyun and LIU Yong was very similar.the most important point was that all the two writers' lives were full of frustrations because they had had the pipedream of 'from commoner to prime minister'.But comparing the two writers,WEN Tingyun had political conviction and high aspiration as well as righteousness while LIU Yong had no belief that was worth upholding.For this reason,WEN Tingyun's wandering was a tragedy while LIU Yong's misery was a comedy.
