徐勤早年活动评述——以保皇会为中心

The Review on Xuqin's Activities in His Early Years——focus on the Baohuanghui

徐勤是康门和保皇会的重要成员,在康派活动中起了重要的作用。他被称为"康门之子路",诚实热情,具有一定的亲和力。他对康有为忠心耿耿,处处维护其权威,赢得了康有为的褒奖。徐勤曾一度言革但却与革命派行同陌路,始终能得到康的信任而任大事。他尽力顾全大局,调节保皇会内部的纠纷,"仆仆海内外",为保皇会运行添加了润滑剂。他拳拳草堂,培养门人,然党门观念较重,思想有守旧狭隘的一面。徐勤早年的活动尤其是他在康门和保皇会中活动,是有一定积极作用的,对此,我们当不能漠视。

Xuqin was an important member of the Kang's door and the Baohuanhui(Society to Protect the Emperor),and he casted in a very important role in it.He was called'Zilu of kang's door'and was famous of his honest,enthusiasm and charm.He was thoroughly obeyed to Kang Youwei,maintained his authority,and Kang was very satisfied with him.He was the advocator of the revolution at a time,but kept a distance from the revolutionary political party.So Kang was trusted with him all the time.He took the interests of the whole into account,mediating the conflict of the Society,lubricating this machine.He repaid the Caotang by cultivating his junior fellow apprentices,but he was very conservative.Xuqin's early years activities,especially in the Society,had played an active role in modern Chinese history.As for this,we cannot ignore.
