F-P腔掺Yb^(3+)双包层光纤激光器中的模式竞争 被引量:5

摘要 对连续波LD泵浦掺Yb3 +双包层光纤激光器的模式竞争进行了实验研究 .发现由二色镜和光纤端面构成的F P谐振腔中存在激烈的模式竞争 ,对光纤激光器发射波长和输出功率的稳定性都产生不利影响 .通过消除“空间烧孔”或减小光纤激光器的有效增益带宽 ,能够有效抑制模式竞争 。 An experimental study on the mode-competition of a cw diode pumped Yb 3+-doped double clad fiber laser is preosented.It is shown that there is drastic competition between the resonant modes when the Fabry-Perot cavity is formed by dichroic mirror and cleaved fiber end, which does great harms to both the stability of the emitting wavelength and the output power of the fiber laser. By removing the spatial hole burning and/or by reducing the effective gain-band of the fiber laser,the mode-competition can be efficiently suppressed and the stability of the laser output can be greatly improved.
