摘要
民族问题是新疆在西部大开发中应该处理好的重大社会问题。为此，文章从民族问题区域比较的新视角，比较全面地阐述了新疆民族问题的突出特点，进而对新疆在西部开发中有针对性地认识、思考和处理好民族问题进行了探讨。
National affairs are an important social matter which should be well dealt with in Xinjiang during the Great West Development. In this article, from a new angle of view of the regional comparison among national issues, the prominent characteristics of Xinjiang national issues have been quite comprehensively expounded. Furthermore, the understanding, pondering, and better treatment of national issues pertinent to Xinjiang in the Great West Development have been studied.
