Now in our country,safety risk assessment of mechanical and electrical products is almost not carried out in their life cycle.One important reason is the lack of effective safety risk assessment models.So in this paper,a general safety risk assessment model for mechanical and electrical products made in China is produced.The model is fit to be used at the design stage of products.
