Design of 2-3 Mixed-Valued Counters by Direct Controlling of Preset Terminals of Flip-Flops

本文研究混值计数器设计中触发器直接预置端的应用.文中首先分析了三值触发器预置端的功能,将二值触发器的邻控原理推广到三值触发器中.然后提出了反馈式和邻控式混值计数器的设计.按照此法设计的电路比较简单,具有一定的实用意义.

This paper studies the application of direct preset terminals of flip-flops in the design of mixed-valued counters. We analyse the function of the preset terminals of a flip-flop and extend the neighbour-controlling principle for binary flip-flops to that of ternary flip-flops. The design methods of the feedback type and neighbour-controlling mixed-valued counters are proposed. The designed circuits based on these methods are simpler, and have certain practical significance.
