试论唐诗繁荣的原因

A Tentative Discussion on the Causes of the Flourish of Poetry in the Tang Dynasty

唐代是中国封建社会的顶峰，又是中国封建社会由盛转衰的转变时期。诗歌做为一代文学的主要形式，在社会急剧变化的唐朝，得到高度的繁荣和发展，一方面是文学本身不断发展变革的结果，但更为根本的是决定于唐代特定的社会基础和历史条件。本文试从唐代经济、政治、思想、文化、诗歌传统等几个方面阐述唐诗发展繁荣的原因。

The Tang Dynasty is regarded as the zenith of Chinese feudal society and also as the turing period for such sobal system from prosperity to decline.The fact that poetry,as the main literary form of the times,flourished and developed to a high degree in the Tang Dynasty,which underwent radical social changes,resultal,no doubt,from the continuous development of Iiteratute itself, but,more fundamentally,from the given social basis and historical conditions of the times. This paper tries to set forth the causes of the flourish of poetry in the Tang Dynasty in terms of the economy,politics,culture and the traditions of poetry in that particular historical period.
