Annotations to Bamboo Slips Guizang from Wangjiatai Site

本文取荆州王家台出土秦简《归藏》28条与辑本传世《归藏》互校,并结合文献典籍,求其训解。通过考释,作者认为《归藏》与《周易》封名或相同,或通用,二者卦、辞文例不同,但主旨接近;《归藏》简多引神话,又有“晋墟”、“宋君”,成书在《周易》之后,约战国中期。

In this paper, the author discusses twenty-eight Qin slips of Guizang 归藏 from Wan-gjiatai, Jinzhou, comparing with the transmitted texts. The author proposes that names of gua 卦 in the guizang 归藏 are identical or shared with those in Zhouyi 周易. Though comments on gua 卦 or yao in the two sources are written in different manners, they serve for the same purpose. Since myths are frequently quoted in bamboo slips of Guizang 归藏 and the phrases jinxu 晋墟 and songjun 宋君 are found, Guizang 归藏 should be dated to middle Warring States period, roughly latter than Zhouyi 周易.
