Reflective Teaching: an Effective Approach to Enhancing EFL Teachers' Professional Development

摘要 近年来 ,教师教育开始从单纯对教育方法的探讨转向对教师专业化发展的研究。在这一研究中 ,反思性教学已成为教师教育所关注的核心问题。本文首先阐述反思教学及反思教学的特点 ,分析了教师和学生在反思过程中的互动关系 ,在此基础上 ,重点讨论了反思性教学对教师职业专业化发展的意义与作用 ,最后 ,介绍了开展反思教学的几种途径和方法。 In recent years, teacher education has changed its focus from a concern on what to teach and how to teach in terms of contents and methodology to teachers' professional development. Reflective teaching has become the core focus in the field of teacher education. This paper, by introducing and discussing the concept as well as the characteristics of reflective teaching, analyses the interactive relationship between teachers and students in the reflective process. It then discusses the role of reflective teaching in teachers' professional development. Finally, it presents a few ways on how reflective teaching can be done.
