摘要首先说明本研究的现状及意义;在评介西方修辞学新理论的基础上,尝试从西方修辞学的新理论中发现修辞学研究的发展趋势;最后总结全文并试图说明很难有一个关于修辞学定义的统一观点。 This paper attempts to outline the developing trends of contemporary rhetoric.It frist states the present situation and then suggests the significance of the study and some considerations on the new perspectives of western rhetoric.Finally it indicates that there is not a unanimous view of the definition of rhetoric at present.
