试论英诗的篇章象似性修辞特点

Text-level iconic rhetoric of English poetry

对于英语诗歌这种特殊的文学体裁而言,语言的象似性不仅存在于词汇层和句法层,而且亦存在于超句法的篇章层。基于此种认识,文章以认知语言学的象似性理论为指导,从距离、顺序、数量、对称、形状、空间和心理等象似原则之角度,分析、探讨了英语诗歌在超句法的篇章层所具有的象似性修辞特点与美感功能。

With regard to English poetry as a special literary genre, iconicity exists not only in the two levels of vocabulary and syntax but also in the level of suprasyntactic text. Based on this perspective, guided by the cognitive theory of iconicity, and from the angles of different iconic principles of distance, sequence, quantity, symmetry, shape, space and psychology, the paper explores the characteristics and aesthetic functions of textual iconicity as an effective rhetorical means of English poetry. 
