摘要
目的语文化教学是我国外语界关注的一个热点,然而目前的有关研究主要集中在目的语文化导入方面,忽视了人对于社会文化的心理感知。人的认知源于人与大自然、与社会文化之间的相互作用。人的行为包括跨文化交际行为一般受其认知程度的制约。通过分析人们对于社会文化的感知过程可以发现,在某种程度上跨文化交际的失误是由交际者跨文化认知能力的不足造成的。把认知科学与跨文化交际学、英语教学结合起来可以找到改革目前的英语教学以培养学生的跨文化认知能力的有效途径。学生跨文化认知能力的培养有利于跨文化交际能力的提高,从而达到国际化交往的目的。
The teaching of target culture is vigorously discussed in current educational circles of foreign languages in China. But most related researches are devoted to the study of classroom introduction of target culture to the neglect of human cognitive ability to perceive social culture. Human cognition is the result of interaction between man and nature and social culture. Man′s behavior, including his crosscultural communicative one, has generally been constrained by his cognitive level. Analysis of human perception of social culture has shown that crosscultural communication breakdown is, to a certain extent, due to the lack of crosscultural cognitive competence of the communicator. To cultivate students′ crosscultural cognitive competence, it is essential to combine cognitive science, crosscultural communication skills and English teaching. With the holistic approach to English education, one can expect to improve students' crosscultural communication competence.
