A study of the translatability of poetry reveals that poetry, as has been proved by the existence of so many translated poems, is translatable and its translatability rests on the hermeneutics and reconstruction of the original meaning. There is no poetry without any meaning in the world, and the meaning of poetry is translatable though no translation is ever perfectly done by human beings. The translated poetry accomplished through the recreation of the original meaning is to become an important part of literary creation. The polysemy and uncertainty of the poetic significance pay the way for the translation of a poem. The translatability of poetry is based on the determinants of meaning, alternately mediated by its indeterminancy.
