目前 ,我国科技进步与技术创新面临新的挑战 ,尤其是我国加入WTO以后所面临的形势更加严峻。因此 ,我国要加快科技体制的改革 ,加强技术创新 ,发展高科技 ,实现产业化 ,加强科技与经济的有机结合 ,尽快形成有利于科技成果转化的机制 ,促进经济发展 ,全面提升我国的经济竞争实力 。

At present our country is facing with new challenges in the technological progress and innovation,especially the situation is becoming more urgent after entering WTO.Therefore we should speed up reforms of sci tech system,strengthen tech innovation,develop hi sci tech,realize production,reinforce natural combination of sci tech and economy,form the system quickly which benefits commercializing sci tech achievements,promote economic development,wholly raise competitive ability of economy in China and keep the road to sustained development.
