The thesis mainly illustrates the contributions of MET to English listening and speaking. As China's entry to the WTO, problems, appeared in higher education, are exposed day by day. How can we solve this problem? MET provides a hardware basis for English education reform and CLT (Constructive Learning Theory) brings us various inspirations. Listening and speaking are weak points for students learning English in universities. CAI (Computer Aid Instruction), direct and vivid, contains a lot of information. It integrates multimedia into Internet, put listening, speaking and viewing together, hence it will enhance student's capacity of listening and speaking skills.
