This paper expounds the great significance of promulgating and implementing the Non-governmental Education Promotion Law of the PRC, and holds that the Law has made a major breakthrough in the five aspects of its aim, property, legal status of teachers, students and other staff members, etc., but there are still some problems which need to be solved before non-governmental education can be further developed.
