摘要
文化是语言的内容 ,语言是文化的载体 ,两者密不可分的关系决定了文化影响着语言学习的各个方面 ,英语阅读自然也深受文化因素的影响。这就要求我们在进行英语阅读教学时要充分利用各种手段 ,把文化因素与语言教学结合起来 ,以有效提高学生的阅读理解能力。
Culture is the content of language while language is the vehicle of culture. Their inseparable relation determines that culture exerts great effect on every aspect of language study including English reading. The improvement of reading comprehension depends largely on the utilization of a variety of teaching methods like the combination of cultural elements and language teaching.
