On Seeking the Cause of Li Shangyin Offending Linghu Tao

李商隐得罪令狐的原因,旧说多归结于牛、李党争。本文作者认为此事无关乎党争,是李商隐就婚于王茂元家的结果。李商隐与令狐家之女有恋情,就在令狐家准备招其为婿时,他却与王茂元之女结婚了,因此导致令狐对其积怨难释。本文还从另外的角度对李商隐的某些诗进行了新的诠释。

The cause that Li Shangyin offended Linghu Tao was said to be attributed to the party group struggles of Niu-Li.The author doesn't agree.He thinks that it didn't yefer to the party group struggles and it was because Li married with Wang Maoyuan's daughter.Li and loved Linghu's daughter and Linghuhad planned to have the groom move into his house after the marriage,but Li married with Wang's daughter.So Linghu Tao had a grudge against Li forever.In this article,the author gives explanatory notes to some of Li's poems from other angles.
