摘要
在英汉语言中,存在着很多借助于夸张辞格构成的习语。本文从对比语言学的角度,对英汉夸张习语所含文化因素进行了对比分析,并根据民族文化的共性和个性,从理论到实践论述了这类习语的翻译策略。
There are many idioms formed by the figure of speech —hyperbole in English and Chinese. Based on contrastive linguistics,this paper analyses the cultural factors of English and Chinese hyperbole idioms, and discusses the translation strategies of this kind of idioms according to national cultural commonness and individuality from theory to practice .
