摘要
新加坡经过30多年的园林绿化和花园城市建设,已经实现了"热带最佳园林城市"的目标。新加坡通过花园城市建设,改善城市生态环境,从而吸引高科技产业和金融业在新加坡落户的成功经验,已经成为各国城市学习的典范。本文描述了新加坡花园城市建设的概况,总结了新加坡花园城市建设的经验。
Through the construction of garden city over the past thirty years, Singapore has achieved its aim of becoming a 'garden tropical city of excellence' and has become a model of how a city attracts both high technology industry and financial services by improving ecological environment. The construction of garden city in Singapore is outlined, the experience of constructing garden city is summarized in this paper.
