Artificial seism of S-wave is a new technology of engi ne ering geophysical exploration,but because of some misun-derstand on theory, there are certain difficulties for geological interpretation in the engineering practice.Correct understand and count on wave velocity of S-wave are the key to solve the problem.Application on velocity energy group of dynamic correction when multi-times of stacking to count velocity of S-wave much reliable,and there are some difficult and complex geological problems have already been sol ved successfully by this technology.Correct count of wave velocity on S-wave can promote appli-cation of S-wave exploration more widely,and provide reliab le geological informations for engineering design and construction.
