应用写作教学再思考

More Reflections on Teaching Practical Writing

实际情况表明 ,在高校开设应用写作课仍是必要的 ,也是可行的 ,应认真对待深入探讨这一门日显重要的课程教学中的一些问题。貌似大同小异的各种应用文体的体式是要遵循的 ,但不应把它看成是限制创造性思维的框框而被动地去“适应”它 ,应视其为一种便捷有效的工具而主动地去“应用”它。掌握和熟练应用这些文体是教学的最终目的 ,所以在教学中应淡化理论 ,强化实训。

Practice shows that it is still necessary and feasible to offer the course of practical writingin colleges.Some problems in teaching this course should be taken seriously and explored thoroughly,since it is a subject of increasing importance.Various patterns of practical writing which appear alike ought to be followed,however,one should not regard it as the confines of creativity and try to'adapt to'it passively.Instead,it should be considered as an efficient and effective measure and be applied actively.The ultimate intention of the course is to master and well apply these patterns.Hence,it is suggested that in the process of teaching,practice rather than theories should be reinforced.
