This paper refers to the distinction between systematized holistic nurs ing and primary nursing through its e ssence and connotation.There are still gaps between them through oral statistic sa mple survey from nurses at relevant W ards and the materials existed.So in reform of medical model and its appropriate nursing model,how to distinguish them correctly is very useful for nursing study,nursing education and management.
