Supplements on Linguist Wei Jiangong and His Former Record of Schooling

从我国语言研究史角度,总结魏建功大师四项成就:写成划时代著作《古音系研究》,在台湾省领导“国语运动”,主 编写著名的《新华字典》,在北京大学创办古典文献专业。文章还就学术界争论已久的其前期学历作了认真订正与补充,探讨 早年语言学习的历程。

This paper summerises Wei Jian Gong's four achievements in the lingucslic study,inclnding uriting the book of Phonology of Ancient Chinese,leading in the Campaign for Popucarixation of Chinese in Tainan,taking charge of editing the well-known Xinhua Diclionary,and establishing the discipline of Classic Literature in Beijiang University. Besides.it also makes a thorough, study of his earlier educational,which has been long in dispute among scholars.
