风险投资 ,或称创业资本 ,源于 4 0年代的美国硅谷。与传统的金融服务不同 ,它是在没有任何财产抵押的情况下 ,以资金与公司业者持有的公司股权相交换 ,投资是建立在对创业者持有的技术甚至理念的认同的基础之上的。当前 ,风险投资在我国高技术产业中 (如 :通讯、医疗、生物工程等 )正呈现出迅速发展的势头。因此 ,良好把握风险投资机制 ,从而更好地服务于信息产业市场、服务于高技术产业市场。

Venture capital was born in the Silicon Valley of the United States in 1940s. Venture capital is different from the traditional financial services on that venture capital claims equity for its capital invested without any assurance of assets or securities. The investment from venture capital fund is based on the identification of the ideas or technology of the holders. Nowadays, venture capital is active in the high-tech industries like telecommunication, bio-tech and bio-pharmaceutical in China. That is why we should foster the system of venture capital to promote the IT industry and other high-tech industries.
