仁宣之治"还是"永宣之治

Ren Xuan Governance" or "Yong Xuan Governance?

以前人们常提到明代的"仁宣之治",实则不确。仁宗只在位1年,算不上一个时代;宣宗在位10年,其相对太平也是永乐朝鼎盛的余绪。永乐时"赋入盈羡",国力强盛,出现了郑和下西洋的空前壮举,在东北设立了奴儿干都司,编纂了《永乐大典》,大规模营建并迁都北京,浚通大运河,使大运河的漕运能力由每年不到50万石提高到500余万石,大工迭兴而国力不绌,外国贡使来华者"络绎于道",一片盛世景象。由于永乐帝是通过武力从侄儿建文帝手中夺来的皇位,被封建士大夫指责为"篡逆",故不愿承认永乐盛世的史实。今应如实恢复历史的本来面目,将永乐盛世和宣德时的太平合称为"永宣之治"。

Ren Xuan Governance', though often so called by many people in the past, is not the correct appellation for an era in history for the reason that Renzong Emperor's reign lasted only one year. Xuanzong Emperor's reign, which lasted ten years, was a period of relative peace and tranquility, during which the prosperity of the Yongle Emperor's reign was still retained. The fact that the revenue generated far exceeded expenses, and the whole nation was powerful during that period, made it possible that Zheng He started his voyage to the West, which was an unprecedented event in the history of China, that Nu Ergan army and governmental office was established in Northeast China, and that the Yongle Canon was compiled. After the capital was moved to Beijing, the JingHang Canal was dredged. As a result, water transport of grain to Beijing increased by nine times from less than 500,000 to 5 million dan's. Numerous large-scale buildings were being built, but no insufficiency and weakening of national power resulted in. Foreign convoys, one following the other, came to China to pay tribute to the Chinese emperor. Nevertheless, scholarbureaucrats refused to acknowledge Yongle's reign as an era of prosperity due the fact Yongle Emperor had usurped the throne from Jian Wen Emperor, his nephew. The present article has been written to defend Yongle Emperor and Xuande Emperor by naming both eras of prosperity and peace as 'YongXuan Governance'.
