本文根据新疆维吾尔自治区档案馆所藏历史档案 ,对斯坦因第四次来新疆考古的时间、地点、路线及所获古物最终归属进行了考证 ,从而使这个世纪之谜得到释解。

Based on the historical archives stored at History Archive of Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, this paper studies on the date, places, routes of Aurel Stein's 4th exploration to Xinjiang. It also explains the ascription of the cultural relics collected by A.Stein.
