摘要
实验测得φ40mm×40mmBGO在GDB50L和GDB44D光电倍增管上的时间分辨率为1.9,3.4ns(对^(60)Co),φ76mm×100mmBGO在GDB76F上的时间分辨率为6.3ns。用蒙特卡罗方法研究了光电倍增管对探测器时间性能的影响,预计φ76mm×100mmBGO在3英寸快管上的时间分辨率可在2.5ns以下。
The time resolutions (for 60Co source) of the detectors composed of $40 mmX40 mm BGO+GDB50L,$40mmX40 mm BGO+GDB44D and $76 mmXIOO mm BGO+GDB76F were measured to be 1.9 ns, 3.4 ns and 6.3 ns> respectively. The influence of the photomultiplier tubes on the timing properties of the detectors was studied with the Monte Carlo Simulation.The calculation showed that the time resolution of the $76 mm, 100 mm B<fO a fast 3' -diameter photomutiplier tude could be blow 2.5 ns.
